I've never drawed something like this guy, I hope you like it.

Well... this was interesting to draw, I personally enjoyed messing with the lights... that's why it looks kind of crappy ( In my opinion I'm not a fan of my own work also ULTRALAZYBACKGROUND) then again I'm here for the feedback, so let it go.

The Moon has a weird angle and form.
The shadow in the grass is wrong I think
In pesonal opinion, I don't like the round semi-dissolved frame

The light effects is a nice touch. But avoid overdoing it. Balance it.
Try making it darker the next time, and the light effects will look better

The Background is good. Except by the moon... It just... ticks me off
The Character looks fine. Keep working and you will get a lot better in a fast time. You said it was an original character and I am sure that guy who asked will like it.

In few words, Is good. But work some details
